Boeing Color Standards

Q: I currently have an enquiry from one of my customer for paint ref bac703, bac704 and bac705, which are boeing paint standard d14080 references. I do not have any details of those  colours and cant find any anywhere. Would you know the fed std 595 matching colours?

A: I doubt that the Boeing colors match any of the Fed. Std 595 colors. More often than not the colors used by commercial organizations are custom designed. The folks who should be able to assist you are the aerospace divisions of PPG, Sherwin Williams, Deft Industrial Finishes among others.  The companies listed above sell to the aerospace industry and I believe that they have the Boeing color standards.
