Vinyl Zinc Chromate Primer

Q. I am currently repainting my 14 ft. boat which I use in freshwater fishing applications. I am using Valspar paints and the manufacturer says to use a "Vinyl Zinc Chromate Primer" as the last coat before the final paint, however I cannot find any !!!. My question is this, is there another brand I could use that you could recommend? Where would I get this product from?

A. Most industrial paint supply stores carry vinyl wash primers, but you won't find them in hardware stores. I know that Sherwin Williams is one company that sells this product.
