Paint & Coating Market Information and Trends

Q. I am working on a project for one of my classes and my group's topic is interior paint. My part is understanding the manufacturing needs in the United States by looking at labor, land, raw materials, utilities, infrastructure, and technology. If you could please give me any information on these topics about the paint industry your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A. Your best bet is to look at the Chemical Marketing Reporter and Chemical Engineering. These two journals frequently provide information on current trends in the industry. In addition, you can go to journals such as the American Paint Journal, Modern Paints & Coatings which also publish the type of information you are looking for.
