Looking for HVLP 4 Stage Setup

Q. I am in the market for a 4 stage HVLP set-up, mainly to shoot oil base paint and finishes. Can you refer me to a quality manufacture of turbines a guns. I am confused by all the manufacturers specifications listed. What is the real truth? Thanks

A. Many cabinet refinishers are now using the turbine type spray equipment with a great deal of success. The HVLP turbine units are portable and easy to set up. There are several units on the market and like anything else, you usually get what you pay for. I am of the opinion that if you purchase spray equipment from a manufacturer that ranks high in the field, you reduce the risk of trouble from some of the imitators in the market place. Using Graco as the standard, compare the quality of the product benefits and features. How easy is it to get repair parts and most of all who provides a source of professional technical data and information?
