Q. What are the requirements for the doors on a paint spray booth? Can it be a roll up garage door?

A. There are no specific requirements on the doors of paint spray booths, although there are many requirements on airflow, fire and safety. I have seen many paint spray booths where the doors have been of the rollup type.

To insure that you follow all of the fire ands safety requirements for paint spray booths I suggest that you download NFPA Bulletin 33 from the www.NFPA.org web site.
