Painting Aluminum with Powder Coating

Q. We want to paint some rectangular aluminum tubing we are going to use for a camera boom. We have no idea where to start. Can you please help? If there is anything you need to know about the aluminum. I'll ask the place where we bought it. Thanks

A. It sounds to me as if you should take the tubing to a local custom coating shop in your local area and ask them to powder coat it. This is not a big deal depending on where you live, you might find several powder coating shops in your area. You will find them in your local yellow pages.
