Quality of Interior House Paints

Q.I wish to paint the interior walls of my house. The house is 7 years old and still has the original builder's flat paint. I have selected my color scheme. However, I am concerned about quality and longevity. What are some characterics of quality interior paints? Is there any research done to compare brands, for instance Duron versus Home Depot brand?

According to what I saw on the website, subscriptions are $19.00 per year, but you might agree that the information you requested this is well worth paying for.
