Non-Slip Floor Tiles

Q. Can non-slip floor paint adhere permanently to quarry tiles. If not, is there any coating that will?

A. In all cases where I don't know ahead of time what the results will be, I always recommend that you first experiment. Take a sample quarry tile and apply a two-component epoxy that you can purchase from an industrial paint store, (not a hardware store) and then, after allowing the epoxy to cure for approximately 24 hours, apply the non-slip coating. Wait for approximately one week and then test for adhesion and other physical properties.
