Solvent (VOC) Retention During Production

Q: I am assisting a company that produces a mold release in evaluating their need for an air permit.  There isn't much info available on mold release production but more on coatings and coating production.  Can you provide insight or direct me to where I could find more information on the VOC retention during production of coatings?

A: The EPA has published AP42 which is a large document that provides emissions factors for as wide range of industries. You will undoubtedly find paint manufacturing in the guidebook. To the best of my knowledge, you can download AP42 from the EPA web site.
