CARC Powder Coating

Q. Did you ever find a powder coating that meets the mil spec requirements of CARC but is applied in a powder coating method?

A. I'm not aware of any powder coating that meets the requirements of a mil spec. There are probably powders that do meet the performance specifications, but they are not substitutes for the current liquid coatings. Permission to use powders in place of CARC coatings might be given on a case-by-case basis.
