Mustard-colored Paint

Q. I'm looking for a beautiful, rich, golden colored interior paint called "light mustard" but do not know which brand makes it. Could you help?

A. The house paint industry develops new colors for wall and trim paints to keep up with decorating trends. The names of the colors and descriptions will vary from one manufacturer to another. For instance: Dove Grey at one paint store may be Misty Grey at another. So to pin down light mustard color, we need to know about the mustard, yellow or brown.

It is suggested you visit a national brand paint store and review the various paint color charts. Lets face it, dusty ochre is a lot more romantic than light mustard.
