Converting Kreb's Stormer Viscosity to Seconds for Paint Coatings

Q. Can you please inform me on how to spray paint (if at all possiable) over powder coating without stripping to bare metal?

A. Select a small test area. Scuff sand the powder coated surfaces and apply the topcoat of your choice. After a few days (72-96 hours) perform an adhesion test to confirm that the topcoat adheres well to the powder coating. If it doesn't then scuff sand again and prime with an epoxy. Epoxy primers are known to have excellent adhesion. Apply the topcoat of your choice over the epoxy and test again for adhesion. If it works, then you have a solution to your problem.

Best wishes,

Ron Joseph
