Byproduct Emissions From Paint and Coating Baking Operation

Q. Where can I find information on byproducts and chemicals that are out-gassed when a coating is exposed to high temperatures of 150°C.

A. The byproducts from the baking of paints depends entirely on the resins that are used in the coating. You will need to speak to your paint manufacturer who will know exactly what resins are used in his coating. Once you know the resin, you will be able to finf the byproducts either by going to the raw material vendor, or by searching the Internet.

Best wishes,
